At The Present Mind Studio, adults and children are guided through NeuroMovement® lessons — a delightful way to awaken your brain’s natural potential through movement. No struggle, just gentle discoveries that bring sharper focus and joyful presence to everything you do.
NeuroMovement® in practice.
NeuroMovement® supports your ability to notice yourself more clearly, move with greater ease, and develop more intention in each moment. These gentle lessons can help reduce aches and pains, improve balance and strength, and support more coordinated, effortless movement in both your brain and body.
NeuroMovement® supports:
Greater attention and awareness.
Reduced aches, tension, and pain.
Improved balance, coordination, and flexibility.
More ease and strength in physical movement.
Clearer thinking and more intentional action.
A calmer, more present relationship with daily life.
The Present Mind Studio was created as a place to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the wisdom of the brain and body. This practice helps you explore movement with attention, awareness, and new possibilities for ease and change.
NeuroMovement® is not about forcing change. NeuroMovement® helps you remember how to come home to yourself in order to learn, adapt, and grow.
Individual NeuroMovement® Lessons
In an individual NeuroMovement® lesson, you’ll be guided through gentle, mindful movements that support your brain’s ability to form new connections.
Each lesson is tailored specifically to you. You'll relax fully clothed on a padded table (or other comfortable position) while gentle, subtle touch and movement helps your brain learn and adapt. Lessons last around 40-45 minutes, with time afterward to notice and integrate what you've discovered.
Recommendation
A series of lessons (2-3 or more in one week) is recommended to build momentum for lasting change. It's not about fixing --it's about discovering what your body and brain can do when given the right conditions. The more new information we can bring to your system in a safe and gentle way, the greater that lasting change we can make.
Group NeuroMovement® Classes
Group NeuroMovement® classes offer a gentle, brain-based way to explore new options for moving, thinking, and feeling. Guided through verbal instructions, you’ll be invited into slow, comfortable movement variations that help your brain notice differences, let go of unnecessary effort, and discover more ease and coordination in daily life.
These classes are well-suited for people who enjoy learning in community, want support for balance, flexibility, and comfort, or are simply curious about how movement can positively impact mood, focus, performance, and overall well-being.
Host a Class
Would you like to host a NeuroMovement® class for your friends, family, clients, or community? Group classes can be a lovely way to support wellness, curiosity, and connection. The Present Mind Studio can support a one-time event, a short series, or a regular class as part of a wellness program, parent circle, etc. If you’re interested in hosting, please reach out!

I highly recommend Kelly! I was having some stiffness in my neck and back - through her "less is more" approach, I was able to feel relief in just 2 visits. It's easy to push our bodies when we feel stiff and tight but through these minimal movements and really focusing on the brain/body connection, you realize that you don't have to do much to get things to relax and work as they should!

After several years of continuous pain in my neck and shoulder and weeks of physical therapy with no results, it was suggested by a health professional I try another alternative, called NeuroMovement. The continuous pain I was experiencing interfered with my basic daily activity and made me feel much older than my true age. At first I was very skeptical and unaware of what NeuroMovement was all about, but agreed to make an appointment with a NeuroMovement practitioner.
At my first appointment, I met with Kelly. She explained the NeuroMovement concept and how doing slow movements on my body can enhance new brain connections to help overcome pain. My reaction after several sessions can only be described as “enlightened”. I was totally blown away that my pain had greatly diminished, and days I had no pain! Simple movements that can rewire the brain has helped me be more aware of my body when it comes to bending, lifting, twisting, reaching, and just rising from a chair or bed.
The videos that Kelly sent me have also been extremely helpful and helps to keep me on track. I can’t say enough about Kelly and her training as a NeuroMovement Practitioner. She has helped me overcome the chronic pain that I’ve lived with for so many years. Thank you so much Kelly!

I recently had the opportunity to do a 3-lesson Series with Kelly. This was an experience unlike I’ve ever had with any other wellness practitioner. Kelly’s approach was not only gentle, but extremely thoughtful, intentional, and effective! Kelly took her time to explore and understand my movement patterns, how I felt, and what I most needed out of each session. She helped me to connect and attune to my body in a way no other modality has done, all with very light touch and gentle movements. As someone who is used to being in motion constantly in the midst of the work day and even doing intense workouts, this approach was It was truly refreshing!
Slowing down and paying attention to my body helped me realize that I have been tolerating “minor” aches, pain, and stiffness, treating them as a “normal” part of daily life and aging, when really they do not have to be.
The best part was realizing that staying healthy and strong do not always necessitate fast, intense, or rough movements or interventions. Sometimes the body can strengthen and recover more fully when we introduce awareness, intention, and gentle experimentation, allowing the brain and the body to truly connect and work in unison.
I continue to practice and experiment with all sorts of movement, being kinder to my body, and I feel good to know that this is improving my posture, alignment, bone strength, flexibility, and overall sense of wellbeing. Thank you Kelly!
